Job Overview
Are you interested in capital markets and rule-based equity investment strategies? Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) or structured products? You like to work with numbers as well as on rules-based investment strategies? Then you will very likely fit into our team!
Your Tasks
- Develop innovative equity-index methodologies together with our reputable global client base.
- Participate in the daily activities of the Equity Index Structuring team.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based tools for index construction, security selection, weighting, and rebalancing.
- Implement index methodologies and financial-data workflows in Python, including data extraction, cleaning, validation, and transformation.
- Be actively involved throughout the index-structuring process.
- Draft index guidelines and supporting documentation and analyses.
- Support index structurers with client requests and interactions.
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in equity markets and financial data.
- Essential: programming skills in Python.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Independent and structured working style.
- Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in English.
- Available immediately for at least 6 months.
